Serena Torielli since 2018 is one of the 50 “Inspiring Fifty”: the 50 women considered most influential in the technology sector in Italy.
Graduated in 1992 from Bocconi University in Milan in Political Economy, the following year she held the JP Morgan Training Program in New York. From there he began his career in the financial sector.
In 1992 at JP Morgan he became Vice President Fixed Income Sales and Trading. After an initial experience in trading Italian government bonds, she moves on to deal with the distribution of fixed income products to Italian insurance companies and asset managers.
In February 2000, she took on the role of Managing Director FICC for Goldman Sachs International: she is responsible for the sale of fixed income products and derivatives to Italian institutional clients, as well as head of the sales team dedicated to the insurance sector.
In May 2007 he moved to Banca Leonardo as Head of Asset Management Sales: here he created the startup of the Asset Management business, building the team of managers and commercials and the SICAVs necessary for the distribution of the mutual funds of Banca Leonardo and DNCA Finance to Italian institutional clients.
In April 2010 he founded VIRTUAL B S.p.A, of which he is CEO. Virtual B is an Italian fintech company that deals with data analytics, AI and digital marketing for banks and insurance companies. Today Virtual B is a partner of many important Italian and international financial institutions such as AXA Investment management, Fineco, Allianz Bank and ING.
