Clara Poletti è Componente del Collegio di ARERA, l’Autorità di Regolazione per Energia Reti e Ambiente, Presidente del Board dei Regolatori di ACER, l’Agenzia europea per la Cooperazione dei Regolatori dell’energia, e Delegato ARERA del CEER, the Council of European Energy Regulators.
Ha oltre venti anni di esperienza nei settori energetici e ambientali. Ha contribuito all’avvio dell’Autorità di Regolazione per l’Energia Elettrica e il Gas nel 1997 e da allora ha lavorato nell’ambito della regolamentazione dei settori energetici, dei servizi idrici e della gestione dei rifiuti, sia a livello nazionale che europeo.
È stata Direttore dello IEFE, il Centro di ricerca dell’Università Bocconi sui temi di economia e politica dell’energia e dell’ambiente dal 2007 al 2011. Ha, inoltre, partecipato alla fondazione del Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE), di cui è stata Direttore scientifico per la sezione energia. È membro dell’Advisory Council Executive Committee dell’Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), è ricercatrice associata del Cambridge Research Policy Group e membro dell’ Advisory Board della Florence School of Regulation.
È autrice di numerosi articoli scientifici.
Clara Poletti is Commissioner of the Italian independent Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment (ARERA), Chair of the Board of Regulators of the European Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) and ARERA delegate at the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER).
She has more than twenty years’ experience in the field. As far back as 1997, she contributed to the start-up of the Italian independent energy regulator. Since then, she has worked on the regulation of energy, water and waste management services at both national and European level.
From 2007 to 2011, she was Director of the Bocconi University research centre on energy and environment (IEFE). She was also a founding joint academic director at the Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE). She is member of the Advisory Council Executive Committee of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), associate researcher of the Cambridge Energy Policy Research Group and member of the Advisory Board of the Florence School of Regulation.
She is the author of numerous scientific articles.
