Lorella Bigatti nasce a Milano nel 1962 e vive a Rho. Dopo la Laurea in lettere Classiche, conseguita presso l’Università Statale di Milano, si specializza in Museologia a Roma e completa, nuovamente a Milano, il proprio percorso di studi con un master in Discipline antropo-psico-pedagogiche.
Ha diviso da sempre il proprio lavoro tra settore pubblico e privato, presente per otto anni nella città di Rho come assessore ed intraprendendo poi la carriera di amministratore di società pubbliche, affiancata da una lunga attività nel settore della pianificazione energetica e, più di recente, dell’insegnamento liceale.
Attualmente è Amministratore Unico di NET, una società interamente pubblica pluricomunale che realizza e gestisce le reti di teleriscaldamento urbano nonché progetti di efficientamento energetico. È presente nel CdA di Euro.PA, società multiservizi dell’Alto Milanese e nella Giunta esecutiva di Confservizi Cispel Lombardia, associazione regionale che rappresenta le aziende – utility e multitutility – che operano a livello locale nei settori di pubblica utilità.
Interessata da sempre ai temi dell’innovazione, ha guidato NET in progetti di Partenariato Pubblico Privato che hanno consentito alla società di ottenere significativi risultati nell’ambito di MIND (Milano Innovation District), dove NET, in PPP con la tedesca E.ON, si è aggiudicata la gara per servizi energetici di teleriscaldamento di ultima generazione e, in particolare, ha realizzato le reti per il teleriscaldamento del nuovo polo ospedaliero Galeazzi.
NET è ora impegnata nella realizzazione della prima Comunità Energetica Rinnovabile costituita tra Comuni e società pubbliche; si tratta di un progetto ambizioso, per molti aspetti pionieristico, che prevede il coinvolgimento di una pluralità di stakeholder, finalizzato a dare consistenza reale a risparmio energetico, utilizzo razionale delle fonti rinnovabili ed abbattimento dell’inquinamento, tenendo presenti, al tempo stesso, le esigenze economiche, mai come ora pressanti, delle fasce sociali più deboli.
Lorella Bigatti was born in Milan in 1962 and lives in Rho. After graduating in Classical Literature from the State University of Milan, she specialized in Museology in Rome and completed her studies again in Milan with a master’s degree in anthropo-psycho-pedagogical disciplines.
She has always divided her work between the public and private sectors, present for eight years in the city of Rho as a councilor and then embarking on a career as director of public companies, supported by a long activity in the energy planning sector and, more recently, of high school teaching.
She is currently the Sole Director of NET, a wholly public multi-municipal company that builds and manages urban district heating networks as well as energy efficiency projects. She is present on the Board of Euro.PA, a multi-service company in the Upper Milan area and on the Executive Board of Confservizi Cispel Lombardia, a regional association that represents companies – utilities and multi-utility companies – operating locally in the public utility sectors.
Always interested in innovation issues, she led NET in Public Private Partnership projects that allowed the company to obtain significant results in the context of MIND (Milan Innovation District), where NET, in PPP with the German E.ON, was awarded the tender for latest generation district heating energy services and, in particular, created the district heating networks for the new Galeazzi hospital centre.
NET is now engaged in the creation of the first Renewable Energy Community established between Municipalities and public companies; it is an ambitious project, in many respects pioneering, which envisages the involvement of a plurality of stakeholders, aimed at giving real consistency to energy saving, rational use of renewable sources and reduction of pollution, bearing in mind, at the same time, the economic needs, pressing as never before, of the weakest social groups.
