I am an entrepreneur, co-owner of a fodder cereal and zootechnical farm in the province of Milan, in the South Agricultural Park.
We raise dairy cows to produce high-quality milk, in full compliance with the hygienic / sanitary rules and animal welfare.
We grow the products with which we feed our cows using sustainable practices and techniques for the environment (soil, water, air), we protect biodiversity and we limit the use of fertilizers and agro drugs.
In 2016 I started the recovery of an ancient “forgotten” mill in an unused area of the company.
Hence the project to create around it a small museum / laboratory where we have exposed traditional tools of the agricultural life of the first half of the ‘900, now unavailable, witnesses of local history and identity.
The opening to pupils of primary and secondary schools aimed at spreading knowledge of the campaign, the expression of the environment, food and territory, was the final goal of the project sealed by the accreditation of the company also as a Didactic Farm by the Region Lombardy.
The farm is proposed as a natural laboratory of environmental and food education for children and young people, faced to stimulate their curiosity, research, reflection and the desire to learn in simple way notions of agronomy, zootechnics, biology…
An authentic training course capable of promoting awareness of one’s rootsand the sense of responsibility towards Nature.
It represents a great opportunity for agriculture, for school and for children, future adult of tomorrow.
